I was told in no uncertain terms that I needed to update my blog so here it is......
On Tuesday I finally went for surgery to remove the cyst from my arm, it's only been 2 years that I've been trying to get it done. I was a bit nervous because they said I may lose some functionality and/or strength in my hand and anyone who knows me knows how I'd have a hard time if my weight training would be interrupted. I am happy to report that all is A-OK! It really isn't that sore and I am able to lift my boy no problem and best of all I'll be back in the gym on Friday!!!
It's amazing how being a mom changes your whole thought pattern, this new little creature that didn't even exist up until a short time ago now consumes your every thought. As I was laying in the operating room I recall my last thought being; "I wonder if Sébastien is ok" and then the first thought I had when I awoke was; "I sure miss Sébastien and I wonder if he's ok". He is most definitely my #1.
